The world won’t slow down.
But you can come back to yourself.
Pala is a screenless wristband that guides your breathing through gentle vibration. No screen. No app. No data. Just a quiet signal on the wrist, in the moments you need it most.
You feel it. You follow it.
Pala does one thing. It guides your breath.
A soft pulse tells you when to breathe in. A pause tells you to hold. Another pulse tells you to release. You don’t have to count, or watch a screen, or remember a technique. You just follow what you feel.
Two patterns, chosen with a single button.
Box
Four in. Four held. Four out. Four held. An even, steady square you can return to anywhere — in traffic, before a meeting, at the school gates.
Deep
Four in. Seven held. Eight out. A longer, slower pattern, for when you want to settle.
That’s it. That’s the whole product.
Fitness trackers ask for your attention. Pala gives it back.
Almost every wearable ever made wants more of you. More glances. More notifications. More data, flowing somewhere you’ll never see.
We built Pala by taking things away.
No screen. There is nothing to look at. That is the point.
No app.Pala doesn’t need your phone. It doesn’t want your phone.
No notifications. It will never interrupt you. It waits until you ask.
No data.No Bluetooth, no wireless, no cloud. Nothing is collected, because there is nothing to collect.
No subscription. You buy it once. It’s yours.
Analog by design.
Made in Wales.
Why we’re building this.
Presence that arrives by accident cannot be relied on. You can lose it without knowing you had it.
Jon, founder
Building in the open.
Pala is not finished. We think you should know exactly where it is.
The design is settled: the materials, the weight, the feel of the pulse on the skin. We are now building the first working prototype — the version that lets us hold the thing we’ve been describing.
After that, a crowdfunding campaign, and then production.
We’ll show you every step, including the parts that don’t go to plan.
